a month agoNot so legendary! I won't be back. We came in at 630pm, it was quiet, we were the only ppl there. Our order was being taken until a local came in to pick up a phone order, suddenly it felt like we didn't exist. The phone order was served before we were able to finish ordering ours. The asian woman (& shorter solid guy, possibly the owner?) serving was borderline rude, quite impatient & blunt. Decided to ignore my initial thoughts & cont'd to order... two grilled Barramundi, grilled salmon, calamari rings, calamari rings pack & a egg bacon roll. We were still the only patrons at the shop, we were called in from outside to come in to pick up the food even though we said we'd eat in, it wouldn't have taken much effort to bring it out to us.. The Barra was good (tasty & not greasy), & one of them was a decent portion, the salmon portion was mediocre, the 6 calamari with chips pack was a just-ok size for the price, & have def tasted better egg bacon rolls elsewhere - the egg was dry & the roll was flat. After spending $88.50 (cash, no EFT fees on top), my family was still hungry. We didn't let it ruin our day, so we went elsewhere to fill our bellies.

3 months agoI had the crumbed fish and chips. The crumb on the fish was light, thin and super crispy. The fish was fresh and so tender that it all but fell apart in my hands. The chips had a perfectly thin crisp on the outside while being super fluffy on the inside. Even the lemon slice was good. It was sour but also pretty sweet It was a great place to stop by after driving through the national park from Bald Hill

6 months agoAwesome spot - old school fish & chip shop which have all but disappeared. I never have chips in my life but I thought I have to make an exception today (diet starts tomorrow). Seriously good 👏👏👏 Service from Asian lady was not friendly but maybe she was having a bad day.

8 months agoSeriously fresh seafood! This shop knows what they are doing. I had the Grilled Barramundi with chips and an add-on of salad 🥗, calamari, and prawns 🍤, and it was perfectly cooked—tender, moist, and seasoned just right. That fresh salad on the side complemented it perfectly! Beyond the quality, I was impressed by the efficiency—my food was ready very quickly, which is always a plus. For a true Aussie treat, the Chiko Roll was hot, crispy, and excellent. And don't skip the coffee long black ☕️ was a great way to finish the meal. A complete, satisfying experience from start to finish! This place is now a favourite, and I look forward to my next visit soon!

9 months agoOne of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! The fish is super fresh, perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside — absolutely delicious. Their calamari and grilled fish are just as amazing, full of flavour and cooked perfectly. Everything tastes so fresh and well done — definitely a must-try spot if you love seafood!

a year agoThis little fish & chip shop is in a perfect position to snare hungry travellers driving up from Wollongong as it has no competition. We ordered the Snapper Fillet which was selected from the glass display unit & cooked to perfection in a beautiful crispy non greasy batter. The chips were nice as well & there is seating out the front & plenty if street parking. Our beautiful Greyhound Dolly loved the food too. We will be back.

a year ago⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Legendary! We stopped by Legendary Fish and Chips at Waterfall, and it was hands down one of the best fish and chip experiences we've ever had! The Barramundi fish cocktails were cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside. The seafood sticks and crab claws were packed with flavour, and the pineapple fritter was the perfect mix of sweet and crunchy. We also tried a chico roll, and it was a delicious surprise! The food was fresh, the servings were generous, and the service was fast and friendly. If you're passing through Waterfall or looking for a top-notch seafood feed, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!
